I can see why this is one of your favorites Karin. What a magnificent animal. Your wonderful brushstrokes describe him perfectly.
Cows are fun. I have a Belted Galloway on my easel right now.
Karin you introduced me to the fun of painting cows I actually look forward to painting one of my cow pics I took. I admire your bold and simple brushstrokes, it portrays his power.

Very cool! I really like the red, and the unusual composition with the signature at the top.
I love the big shapes of color and the way you let them stand relatively untinkered -- gives it strength and power.
